Time to Think

Oishi doesn't think about Eiji all the time. Echizen can say whatever he wants but the fact is that Oishi is an intelligent young man with many different responsibilities, and as much as he would like to spend all his time remembering Eiji's kisses, he just can't.

Take classes for example. Oishi knows that he needs to pay attention in class and he does his best to listen to every word the teacher says and write up all the necessary notes. It has nothing to do with the fact that Eiji sometimes borrows them. Oishi once asked him why he didn't borrow Fuji's notes since they were on the same class, but it turns out Fuji's notes are incomprehensible to anyone but Fuji himself.

But the point is that Oishi doesn't think about Eiji during class, since Eiji isn't even in his classroom. He sometimes wonders what it would be like to have Eiji there with him, and then he decides it's for the better that he is not, because then Oishi would spent class thinking about the way Eiji's skin feels, or the noises he makes when Oishi touches him, and that would be incredibly distracting.

There's also student counsel. While in meetings, Oishi devotes his whole attention to the issues at hand. He doesn't wonder if Eiji has been conned again to take Echizen and Momo for burgers, or if he's visiting the pet store, or maybe, just maybe, waiting for him so they can walk home together.

And the rest of the time, Oishi is busy playing tennis with Eiji, talking to him, kissing him, touching him and loving him… and that doesn't leave a lot of time to think.

Duo tasted like strawberry. It was sweet and cool like the ice cream Duo was eating.

Trowa tasted like lemon. Warm and slightly acid like the tea he was drinking.

Heero liked the way the flavors mixed in his mouth. He liked it so much that he forgot about the kendo movie they were watching and instead spent his time kissing Trowa and then Duo, Duo and then Trowa, tasting them both and letting each of them have a hint of the other's flavor.

Duo had been interested in the movie. He had liked the way the characters fought in a dance of swords, but apparently that wasn't as interesting as Heero's kisses since he never complained at not being able to see how it ended.

Trowa hadn't been that into the movie anyway, but a smirk had appeared on his face with the first kiss, and Heero liked kissing that smirk away, over and over again.

Later, much later, when Wufei and Quatre asked how the three of them got together, Heero would say it was because of kendo, and the three of them would smile a knowing smile because they knew it had really been the mix of flavors.

*DL* I hope Duo heard it because that would be great blackmail material.

Thankfully Duo didn't, or Quatre wouldn't have forgiven Trowa that easily. ^_^
