Half-Blood Prince commentary
I just came back from HBP.
I went with my best friend, her little sister and a friend of hers. We made t-shirts that said "I'm with Muggle" with an arrow pointed to one side, in different colors depending to house. The little sister's friend was our token Muggle. This is the design of my t-shirt:

Now about the movie...
What I liked:
- Ron playing Quidditch
- Cormac McLaggen (he's perfectly annoying and he's kind of cute too)
- Everything Ron/Hermione ♥!!
- Harry, Ron and Hermione's interaction
- Ron in love potion mode ♥
- Harry in Felix Felicis mode (so so funny!)
What I didn't like:
- Where's Scrimgeour? I wanted to see him!
- Too little time at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes (not enough twins at all but I always complain about this)
- Trying to put Ginny in every scene to justify the romance, though granted, JKR doesn't do a much better work of that in the book (she never even broke up with Dean, did she?)
- What's with the extra WTF scene at the Burrow? Was it just there because they weren't going to show Remus any more? And Tonks with dark hair but calling Lupin love? And what's with Ginny tying Harry's shoe? That whole scene is very weird.
- Where's Bill!?
. Why is Fenrir Grayback nothing more than an accessory?
- Why isn't Remus spying on the werewolves?
- Sectumsempra scene... seriously? That's all? Draco has some blood on his shirt and that's it? Snape doesn't say anything to Harry? Harry doesn't even sulk about nearly killing Draco properly. Come to think of it, they didn't even say he almost killed him.
What I hated, hated, hated and I'm still grumbling about:
Where the f--! is the final fighting scene? They butchered the whole ending! As much as I find Harry an impulsive idiot most of the times he wouldn't have simply stood there while Dumbledore was being killed. That took away almost all the tension of the moment. The rest disappeared with Snape! Why is he telling Harry to shush? Why is Harry listening? And Dumbledore gets killed way too fast. (The only redeemable thing about that scene is Draco. He's amazing there).
And then there's no fighting scene. The Dark Mark is cast way too late, there are no Death Eaters fighting with Order Members, Aurors and students. They practically walk out uninterrupted. And Harry! His scene fighting Snape is supposed to be epic and there's none of that.. He isn't even crying just throwing a couple of token spells. And then Snape's revelation is so anticlimactic.
Dumbledore's death is completely underplayed when it's one of the most dramatic moments in the whole series. We don't see Hagrid Breaking. Bill isn't attacked. Remus isn't there to rage at the declaration that Snape killed Dumbledore. No funeral.
Really, what I wanted to see the most in this movie was the fighting scene. I'm so very disappointed.
*sigh* Alright. I'm done ranting. Drabbles tomorrow. Now I need Ron fics to read to cheer me up or something...
